Tapas is a Spanish style of dining where everyone orders small servings and everyone shares the food.

Sherbet (Turkish: ?erbet) in Turkey is a traditional cold drink prepared with rose hips, cornelian cherries, rose or licorice and a variety of spices.

If your talking about the frozen desert sherbet, it is more commonly known as sorbet.

Tapas is a name for a variety of Spanish appetizers. Much like an antipasto in Italy. Where as Sherbet can either be another word for sorbet, which is a frozen fruit based desert much like ice cream but without the dairy; or it can be the name of a traditional Turkish drink.

Sherbet is a fizzy cold drink (in Turkey), although sometimes known as Sorbet or Sherbert (notice the extra letter) elsewhere and is a cold, frozen dessert (think of shaved fruit juice).

Tapas is a selection of (usually) hot foods; I’ve associated this with Brazilian dishes. Tapas would be a little serving of one dish, a little serving of another, etc. While you might well have Sherbet as an offering in a Tapas selection (although doubtful – I’m just trying to show you the difference between the two), the two are totally different.

They do not have any similarity, it’s all about differences. They are two seperate things so it is really absurd to compare and contrast them, but since you said “I still don’t see the difference” after all the explanations, I will try to compare them for you.

Tapas is something you eat, Sherbet is something you drink.

Tapas is Spanish, Sherbet (?erbet) is Turkish.

Tapas is the name of the category of food served and consumed as starters in Spanish cuisine (a variety of appetizers like the meze culture ou Middle East), Sherbet is a sweet drink. So when you say Tapas it means you are referring to a category of food, whereas when you say sherbet you are referring to a single drink.
