Event FAQ's Q – Where will the event be held? A – The event will be held on the campus of Washington Adventist University, in the lobby of Wilkinson Hall, which is located on Flower Avenue, just west of the intersection of Carroll and Flower Avenues. Q – Where do I park? A – Parking is available in the lot directly across from Wilkinson Hall or in the new parking lot directly behind the WAU Athletic Field. No special permit is needed. Q – Will you be conducting interviews during the event? A – Yes. Representatives from the various disciplines will be present to speak with you about what it's like to teach at WAU, to review your credentials and to conduct interviews with well-qualified candidates. If the department is interested in speaking with you further about career opportunities, you will be required to complete our online job application after the Fair and to consent to a criminal background check. Q – What qualifications are needed to be an adjunct faculty member at WAU? A – A minimum of a Master's degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline in which you wish to teach is required. We prefer individuals with proven experience in teaching at the post-secondary level.
