Question by Melle Belle: How can you improve fresh squeezed orange juice?
I recently bought a juicer and just this morning I used it for the first time to make orange juice. It worked fine but I guess I have come to the realization that fresh orange juice (just the juice, with nothing else added) is not my taste. To me, it tastes watery. I’m used to it being a little more tangy and flavorful. Are there different kinds of oranges that taste better than others? Are the older ones better? Any suggestions or tips?

I’d recommend Cara Cara Oranges, as they’re nice and fleshy and sweet. They aren’t, however, juicing oranges, so you won’t get as much liquid out of them.
You can try adding a bit of citric acid to the juice. It should make it more tangy. You can buy it dried and mixed with a bit of sugar.
