Question by aviator68: Would eliminating carbonation in soft drinks reduce carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere?
Or is it a one to one situation. I.E. They take the carbon dioxide from the air to carbonate soft drinks.

If we eliminated carbonation from soft drinks they’d be horrible.

Let nature take care of atmospheric CO2 levels as it always has. We shouldn’t be trying to interfere.
