They are both red wines, but what’s the difference in taste? How can they be paired with meals? Thanks!

chianti is a cheaper red wine, generally served with pasta dishes. to me it has a more acidic taste than other red wines. pinot noir is a smoother red, and can be paired with most meat dishes.
